The ZFX_MATRIX trading system uses the TradeStation platform and is an advanced intraday strategy we trade across several markets including Russell2000 (TF), E-mini S&P500 (ES), Midcap400 (EMD), Mini-Dow (YM), DAX (EUREX), NASDAQ (NQ) and forex, however the system can trade stocks, shares, other indices and markets when optimised for the selected market.
This automated strategy uses a suite of powerful trend and volume indicators allowing the system to identify turning points on intraday trends by analysing changes in volume and trend speed. Entry rules use trend speed, trend angles, volume analysis ranges and higher time frames to detemine market direction.
The ZFX_Matrix system is unlimited in the number of markets or contracts you want to trade. The trade automation sequence has a high degree of automation.
The ZFX_MATRIX strategy can be applied to any time frame as it only needs to be optimized to suit the nominated market and chosen time frame. Optimization can be done in Tradestation using their Genetic Optimizer. As mentioned the system works by integrating multiple time frames to define trend direction achieved by assessing longer times first and then analysing the shorter time frames to determine trade criteria and extract maximum profit. This system also has custom volume and trend analysis routines to maximise profitability.
